Another international crown for the Philippines!
This is after PH's representative Camelle Mercado was crowned Miss United Continents 2022 during the pageant's finals held August 7 in Portoviejo, Ecuador.
Mercado bested 24 other candidates around the world to capture the Philippines 2nd Miss United Continents crown.
Camelle is now the 2nd Pinay to win the Miss United Continents pageant following Jeslyn Santos' win in 2016.
Meanwhile, joining Mercado in her court are Ivanova Velez of Ecuador as 1st runner-up, Colombia’s Karen Ortiz as 2nd runner-up, Venezuela’s Lis Arbalaez as 3rd runner-up, Paraguay’s Gretha Matiauda as 4h runner-up and Mexico’s Ayram Ortiz as 5th runner-up.
