After almost 7 years of being the undisputed King of primetime TV, ABS-CBN's longest-running teleserye is bound for its ending.
On Friday, June 22, Coco Martin himself announced the news through a promo video that FPJ's Ang Probinsyano will end soon.
Coco announced the last 3 weeks of the well-loved Kapamilya action-drama teleserye.
In the video, Coco also thanked all the loyal Kapamilya viewers for letting them in, in their households every night for the past 6 years and 11 months.
FPJ's Ang Probinsyano started airing on September 28, 2015.
Since then, the Coco Martin-led teleserye has been the undisputed primetime series dominating the rating leaderboard.
After the ABS-CBN shutdown in May 2020, the series has been a force to reckon with in the digital platforms as it breaks every all-time high record it has set with the latest on July 11 when it reached 350, 373 concurrent live viewers on Kapamilya Online Live.
FPJ's Ang Probinsyano has left a big mark in primetime television which will be hard to fit by the next series which will take its timeslot.
