Miss Global Philippines 2022 Shane Tormes was crowned Miss Global 2022.
In the pageant finals held Saturday, June 11 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Indonesia, Tormes raised the Filipino flag as she bagged the crown for Miss Global 2022.
Joining Tormes in the winning circle are Miss Malaysia first runner-up , Miss Australia second runner-up, Miss Lithuania third runner-up and Miss Brazil fourth runner-up.
Meanwhile in the same event, Miss Global Organization also crowned the 2021 winner.
Miss Global 2021 was given to Miss UAE Jessica da Silva.
Tormes is the first Filipina to be crowned Miss Global. It's also good to note that she is the 2nd Pinay beauty queen to grab the country's first crown in a pageant held in Indonesia. The first was Megan Young who won the Philippines' first Miss World crown in 2013.
Meanwhile in the same event, Miss Global Organization also crowned the 2021 winner.
Miss Global 2021 was given to Miss UAE Jessica da Silva.
