While we are all locked down in our own homes due to the enhanced community quarantine brought about by the COVID-19 crisis, we have no choice but to find something interesting to get busy with.
We're sure many are spending most of their times watching Netflix, or having ample time reconnecting with their families through worthwhile conversations and bet most if not all are hooked with social media to check latest thread and news about the crisis.
Well not only we ordinary citizens are using social media to relax, enjoy and somehow
Politicians and elected officials, who are strictly following the quarantine protocols (because not everyone are specially those who didn't use his KOKOte) are also busy with social media to let time pass.
Fortunately we chanced upon the funny conversation between governors of neighboring provinces Laguna and Cavite.
Governors Ramil Hernandez of Laguna and Jonvic Remulla of Cavite who are known social media savy governors hit the funny bones of netizens as they share their laughable Facebook open letters.
Remulla started the funny banter when he brought up the issue on lockdown.
Remulla said, he was barred from crossing to Nuvali from Silang because Gov. Ramil already locked down the province.
"Ganyanan na ha. Dehins ako pinalusot Ng checkpoint mula Bgy. Inchikan, Silang, Papunta Nuvali. “Bawal daw” sabi ng hepe mo. Bali wala werpa ko sa checkpoint mo"
He even jokingly theatened the Laguna governor to put a checkpoint in SLEX Carmona area so that Hernandez wont be able to travel to manila
Hernandez answered back saying Remulla's open letter has reached him.
"Meanwhile, after Hernandez's answer to his open letter, Remulla replied again which closes the thread.
Remulla apologize for always being the first to announce cancellation of classes saying unlike Laguna, Cavitenos are not immortals being adjacent to bodies of water which causes quick flooding.
He also jestly said that his own children who went to school in Calamba is monitoring Hernandez instead of his.
And on the issue of who's more good looking, Remulla said it might erupt to 'beki ramble' so they should just brush it off.
In times of crisis it's good to see these kinds of banter from our government officials, being light and relax because it can somehow calm down the situation even for a while.
